This lecture is about general best practices for Oracle Security, and new features in 12c, 18c, 19c, 20c, and 21c regarding Database security. Also, I explain the importance of data protection, especially in terms of sensitive data regulated by the GDPR and other similar standards like PCI, HIPAA, etc. And finally, I explain DBSAT in detail, what it does and how to use it. (I can include a very short overview of the Data Safe cloud tool as well if only one conference if two conferences then I will dedicate the second conference to DataSafe and CloudGuard OCI tools).

I'm a Senior IT Professional, working since the year 1998 with Oracle Products and Technology, first 6 years as Consultant Developer and Systems Analyst, then last 10+ years as DBA/Database Consultant for Oracle versions from 8i to 18c, also often have an additional nontechnical role associated for either short or long periods (ie: Delivery Lead / Acting Team Manager). Also, have experience with AWS and OCI architectures.
I'm OCI foundations certified, ITIL Certified, trained in ISO 27001F and ISO 27001A Fundamentals and Audit, and also highly trained in Oracle Technologies by several premium courses from Oracle University, including Oracle Database Security.
I'm an Oracle ACE Associate since 2017. In the last 4 years, I have become SME in Oracle Database Security.
