RAC (Real Application Cluster) is a feature used to scale-out Oracle Databases. While there are plenty of resources on how to install/configure RAC, it less common to find quality resources aimed at Developer & Architects on how to use RAC to maximize the scalability of their applications.
This presentation walks the audience through a Real World use case on how application design decisions can "make or break" Oracle RAC.
Using a live demo, the audience will experience the performance and scalability gains that can be achieved when an application is designed to take full advantage of Oracle RAC.
